Montgomery County Commissioners Dan Foley, Judy Dodge, and Debbie Lieberman recognized the Northmont Winter Guard for finishing out their 2008 season in April as gold medalists at the WGI Color Guard World Championships in the Scholastic Open Class.  Accepting the proclamation was Brittany Blosser (Junior), and Leah Wheeler (Senior and Co-Captain).

• Montgomery County Commissioners viewed an update from Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County.  The agency is focusing on increased good health and wellbeing of the citizens of Montgomery County.  Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County will be rolling out a new website that will highlight this focus.  They also continue work in the areas of Health Centers, Communicable Disease Clinics, Nutrition, Home Services, Bureau of Vital Statistics, Environmental Health, Communicable Disease Surveillance, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness.
